SQL Report Writing
Course Highlights: This course covers the basic and intermediate skills needed to be successful in writing reports using Microsoft's SQL Server Reporting Services application. Users will learn how to generate basic reports, drill-through reports, matrix reports (pivot table) and linked reports. Cascading parameters are taught for those that are ready to be challenged in their report writing. The class begins with an overview of the Reporting Services architecture and then covers the procedures for creating the types of reports listed above.
Who should attend:
Anyone using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, or other enterprise report writing tools should consider attending this class. (Note: users working within a network environment where SQL Reporting Services has not been installed as part of their IT environment should call for consultation before scheduling to attend!) | TBD |
Microsoft Access
Course Highlights: In this training course, students will learn to maintain a database by using some of the more specialized and advanced capabilities of Microsoft Access. This includes structuring data, writing basic and advanced queries, working with macros, enhancing forms, and writing reports. Students will also learn to share data with other applications, automate business processes, and secure and share databases.
Who should attend: This course has been designed for students who have a desire to learn how to harness the power of the Microsoft Access database tool in assisting them to become more efficient in their work with company or enterprise data. Students that are regular users of Microsoft Excel or other database tools will benefit from this course.

Microsoft Excel
Course Highlights: This training course is designed for students who already have a working knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Students will work with formulas and functions to calculate and return values and they will learn to work with multiple worksheets across workbooks. A number of financial functions and auditing examples will be shared in the class. Students will also learn to work with lists and sub-lists, use Excel’s advanced analysis tools, and work with external data. And of course, no Microsoft Excel class would be complete without covering how to create charts!
Who should attend: Somewhat novice users or knowledgeable users of Microsoft Excel should attend this class.
